Pornography

The American Voice Institute of Public Policy supports federal enforcement of laws against illegal, hard-core pornography in America. We also support federal regulation to prohibit pornography on the Internet. Because of its destructive effect, victims abound from the child whose innocence has been stolen, to the abused woman who has lost her security and privacy, to a man whose addiction overpowers his self-control. Consequently, pornography is a detriment to communities across America as well as cyberspace communities across the Internet. To protect children and break the generational chain of sexual addiction and molestation, the American Voice Institute of Public Policy is in favor of legislation that would ensure a mandatory minimum prison sentence for the production of pornography, especially affecting children, to effectively punish offenders driving this industry of exploitation.
