Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2002 (H.R. 4965)

The House Of Representatives is expected to vote on the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2002  (H.R. 4965) on Wednesday, July 24, 2002. (Full Text Of Legislation).  The measure seeks to ban a late-term abortion commonly referred to as partial-birth abortion.  Except when necessary to save the life of the mother, the bill would ban the procedure.
