Resolution Summary:

Expected as early as July 18, 2001, the House of Representatives will consider the Disapproving Normal Trade Relations with the People's Republic of China.

The Resolution disapproves President Bush's recommendation on June 1, 2001, pursuant to section 402 (c) of the Trade Act of 1974 to extend Normal Trade Relations with China for another year.
