House to Vote to Override Obama's Veto of Bill to Defund Planned Parenthood
The House of Representatives is expected to vote on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, on the Restoring Americas' Healthcare Freedom Reconsiliation Act of 2015 (H.R. 3762; Text of Legislation ), a bill vetoed by President Barack Obama that would defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business that was caught selling the body parts of aborted babies. And how the abortion company likely violated federal laws to sell the body parts was exposed in hearings. Also, the bill repealed the abortion funding Obamacare legislation that President Barack Obama cited as the primary reason for vetoing the overall bill. On Friday, October 23, 2015, the House of Representatives voted 240 to 189 to defund Planned Parenthood. (To view how your representative voted visit: 568 ). To override President Obama's veto, 290 votes will be required but with so many pro-abortion Democrats it is not expected that the House of Representatives will achieve the two-thirds majority required to override the veto.
