H. J. Res. 45 As Amended; A joint resolution increasing the statutory limit on the public debt.
On Thursday, January 28, 2010, the Senate passed House Joint Resolution 45 (H.J. Res.45; Full text of legislation ) by a 60-39 vote (To view how your senators voted visit: 00014). The resolution increases the federal debt limit $1.9 trillion and puts off another painful debt vote until after the midterm elections.

Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act (H.J. Res. 45)
House Joint Resolution 45 (H.J. Res. 45; Full text of legislation ) was passed by the House of Representatives, on Thursday, February 4, 2010, by a 233-187 vote (To view how your representative voted visit: 48). The measure mandates that Congress cannot spend more than it can afford. It requires that Congress offset all new policies that reduce or expand entitlement spending.

Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2009 (H.R. 4061)
