The Senate on Monday, January 22, 2018, on a 81-18 vote (To view how your senators voted visit: 17 )  passed the Making further continuing appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2018, and for other purposes (H.R.195; Text of Legislation).  The measure funded the government through February 9, 2018, under a bipartisan plan to allow a vote by that date on the Senate floor on the legal status of the estimated 800,000 young, illegal aliens known as “Dreamers.”
